About

Bryce Kristensen is a media and marketing executive based in the San Francisco Bay Area and the founder of Powell Street Media, an independent consultancy that advises organizations in tech, entertainment, sports, energy and the nonprofit sector on brand strategy, content and digital growth.

At NBCUniversal, Bryce built the company's first original digital content studio, the NBCU Digital Lab, and ran it as General Manager: a 75-person team with an $11M P&L producing 500 episodes a year across Snapchat, Instagram, Facebook and emerging platforms. He helped develop the $500M content partnership between NBCUniversal and Snapchat, and the Lab was the studio that delivered on it, making NBCU the largest producer of shows on the platform. Before that, as VP of Digital Productions & Development at E! News, he launched The Rundown, the first original show on Snapchat Discover, and grew E! News' owned social audience from 6.4 million to more than 35 million followers.

Since 2023 he has led content, digital and paid media for Habitat for Humanity Greater San Francisco, rebuilding its marketing operation around creator-native content, performance media and AI. He constantly builds custom AI agents to speed up how the team tests, learns and optimizes, while keeping the storytelling human-led.

Bryce is an Emmy nominee, a Webby Award winner and an Ad Age 40 Under 40 honoree. He holds a B.A. in Media Studies from Emerson College, and he writes The Turnaround, a column on where media, platforms and AI are heading.
